“This is us. You and me, Flame. And this is my choice. I want you because of who and what you are, not because of an experiment. You’re in my heart. You have to understand that. This is only between us.” Raoul Fontenot
Could someone explain how the Ghostwalker novels have not been picked up for a Netflix original series?! There are seasons of material!! (Note to self – tag Netflix 😊) Night Game was intense, plus the reader gets some new intel – mind blowing intel! Love when a book totally surprises me. Feehan drags the reader through an emotional, muddy, swamp path, deep woods Bayou, with murder and mayhem around every turn of the pirogue.
Iris ‘Flame’ Johnson is positive all of the ghostwalkers are unknowingly still pawns in the experiment – she is determined to not be one of them. Flame manages to be stubborn, a bluesy seductress, and a stone-cold killer. Admittedly, I hadn’t been looking forward to Gator’s story. Jokesters are not usually my fav, but Feehan had quite a vault of unopened, hidden layers to Mr. Raoul Fontenot.
As has been the case so far, this series does not disappoint. If you have enjoyed my review and are ready to order your copy now, please help support my site and click on the link below!
