I would like to ask for a moment of silence – finishing a Fever book always deserves some sign of respect…😊 The tenth book in the series and Moning still manages shock and awe. I have been hooked since reading “My philosophy is pretty simple-any day nobody’s trying to kill me is a good day in my book.” (Book 1, first sentence, Darkfever, MacKayla Lane)
I did not believe Moning had it in her to make me like a character the way I did Mac. I was wrong – so wrong. Dani O’Malley is a deep well – like Houston we have a problem, deep. The epic drama that is Dani and Ryodan is so explosive in High Voltage – watch out!
I refuse – REFUSE – to put a single spoiler in this review. I will say that the author has cleverly woven hints in books past, I was just too word hungry to pick up what she was throwing down. Mind blown on so many levels and for so many different reasons. Waiting a year for a Moning title is nothing. I always wait patiently knowing that excellence takes time, and the author never puts out anything less.

I agree with everything said so far, Morning we use multiple storylines like fibers creating a wonderful tapestry, so rich in detail… A real page-turner! Also waiting patiently for the Nextbook!
Iris- who do you like better (looks more childish written out than it sounded in my head) Mac or Dani?
