It is my opinion that Eva Chase invented escapism. For those readers that just want an enthralling read with a bare-bones, no apologies needed, sexual tension-filled storyline – then Chase is always at your service. Flirting with monsters is a four-book series starring the (ahem) mostly human Sorsha and her monstrous hangers-on: Omen, Thorn, Ruse, and Snap (Thorn is my Favorite). Each monster is unique, intriguing, and invested in taking down a criminal organization that is after destroying from both sides of the shadow realm pond, and Sorsha might just be the fiery glue that keeps the group from falling apart at their beastly seams. Seriously, a treat to read!
